Healing Starts from the Inside
What many first-time White County Family Chiropractic LLC practice members don’t realize is that healing is an internal process. We’ve been taught to believe that healing starts with an external force, such as medication or surgery. However, your body contains within it everything it needs to heal and function exactly as it’s supposed to. Chiropractic simply removes the interferences that prevent that from happening.
Your brain is the command center, and messages from the brain move along your spinal cord and branch out to every cell, organ and muscle in your body. A subluxation is a misalignment in the joints of the spine or extremities that puts pressure on those nerves, blocking communication. The result is often pain, but in many cases it’s a different type of dysfunction, such as insomnia, acid reflux, asthma, allergies, tingling in the extremities and so on.
When we adjust the segment that’s misaligned, we remove that pressure from the nerves, allowing for a free flow of information between the brain and body so every part of the body can function properly. Your innate healing ability is restored, and you get better and stay better.

Depending on your needs and goals, Dr. Kristen may use more than one adjusting technique to provide the results you’re looking for. She specializes in gentle adjustments, and she tailors care to each practice member’s comfort level.
